Meet The Dental Centre Team

Honorary Clinical Teacher, BDS (Wales), PGCert (Contemporary & Aesthetic Dentistry)
Mark, our Principal Dentist at The Dental Centre Oakdale, brings a wealth of healthcare experience, including a background in pharmacology. Since establishing our practice in 2000, he has been dedicated to delivering high-quality dentistry with a focus on aesthetics and prosthodontics.
Mark’s commitment to patient care led him to a Pg. Cert. in Aesthetic and Contemporary Dentistry in 2020, and he continues to expand his expertise with ongoing training in implant restoration.
Mark is also passionate about teaching and supporting newly qualified dentists and is an Educational Supervisor for Dental Foundation Training. He is also a Speciality Doctor for Cardiff & Vale University Health Board, teaching at the dental training unit in Mountain Ash Community Hospital and St. David’s Hospital, Cardiff.
Outside of dentistry, Mark is a keen motorsports fan and enjoys riding both his motorbike and mountain bike.

Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3
Cassie joined The Dental Centre as a trainee in 2013. She qualified in 2015 and enjoys all aspects of dental nursing, including how her work and commitment positively impact patients’ confidence. Cassie has two young children with her partner and enjoys spending family time with them on the weekends.

Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3
Chantelle joined The Dental Centre in 2022 and qualified the same year. She enjoys all aspects of dental nursing. Chantelle has a keen interest in dental photography which she hopes to develop. She enjoys relaxing on weekends and also going out with friends and family.
Joely joined and qualified at The Dental Centre in 2023. Her favourite part of her role is helping people feel comfortable and confident with their smiles. Her career goal is to become a dental hygienist. Her hobbies include travelling, walking and attending concerts.
